Rent a villa this summer and discover the secret Ibiza
I doesnt matter if you are planning a trip to Ibiza for party or just for taking a time to relax, this island has a surprising amount to offer.
Ibiza´s secret beaches
If you have decided to rent a villa in Ibiza in this island, it´s because you are probably looking for some time relaxing on its beaches.
Cala Llentrisca: This tiny cove of stones is located about 3 kilometers from Es Cubells. It is one of the quietest in the area. Its crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Cala Olivera: Less than four kilometers separate Cala Olivera from Cala Llonga. Its location, after the Roca Llisa urbanization, and the abrupt path that must be crossed to reach it, make this cove one of the least visited by bathers in the area. Although in recent years has been adding followers. It has a part of rocks. It’s ideal for those seeking 100% tranquility and a small area with sand and some hammocks.
Atlantis (Pedrera de Cala d´Hort): A heavenly place only suitable for those who enjoy physical fitness, because to get here we must descend a steep dune which gets complicated on the way back. This old stone quarry belongs to the natural reserve of Cala d´Hort and we find it only 7 kilometers from the town of Sant Josep. Its natural pools and its completely crystalline waters are a unique attraction, although it should be considered that bathing can be dangerous when there are strong waves.
Cala d´Albarca: Also called "Cala Aubarca" by the inhabitants of the place, offers visitors one of the best baths in the north of the island. We find it a few kilometers from San Mateu which is declared as a "Zone of special Natural Interest" and offers a typical landscape of the north of Ibiza: with lush pine forests and imposing cliffs that look towards the sea. Cala d´Albarca is one of the most virgin beaches of the island, and in many occasions, we can enjoy it in complete solitude.
Cala d´en Serra: Located 9 kilometers from Sant Joan and very close to Portinax, Cala d´en Serra is a tiny cove in the middle of a completely virgin area with purely Mediterranean airs. It has a small beach bar and some boathouses. For bathing we recommend the use of booties to avoid damaging ourselves with rocks and urchins. Diving goggles are obligatory for curious and nature lovers.
Cala Xarraca: Depending on the season, Cala Xarraca could be packed or solitary, since in recent years it has been gaining popularity among tourists and residents. Cala Xarraca is a must for snorkel lovers, who will find in this location a real paradise to practice it.
Punta Galera: On the coast of San Antonio and close to Cala Salada we find Punta Galera, one of the most popular coves for nudists and diving lovers. Although it does not have sand to lie down, its huge smooth stone plates offer some comfort to extend the towel. It makes up one of the most beautiful landscapes in the area. The null signaling to arrive is one of the reasons why Punta Galera is never crowded with bathers.
